Đây là bộ sưu tập các bản WINXP-SP2 (Old) nguyên gốc xuất phát từ Microsoft (chưa bị chỉnh sửa , thêm bớt gì ) dùng để làm bộ cài SP2 lõi khi tích hợp hoặc nâng cấp lên Service Pack 3 - Final chính thức của MS

FPP = Fully Packaged Product
OEM = Original Equipment Manufacturer
SEL = Select (No Key Required - License for 250 or more PCs)
VOL = Volume License Key Required
EVL = Evaluation Version
RTM = Release To Manufacturing
VLK = Volume License (Product) Key
VOL = Volume (License)
MPC = Microsoft Product Code

Product IDs and the Microsoft Product Code : ( http://wiki.djlizard.net/Product_IDs )

PID (Product ID) Codes (last 3 digits):
000 = Retail
OEM = OEM Product
270 = Corporate Edition

Từ Windows NT4 về sau có thêm 5-8 số chót là số PID
- 5 số đầu chỉ loại Windows OS
- 3 số sau là loại CD-KEYs :
000 = retail
OEM = Original Equipment Manufactuer
270 = Corporate Edition (hay còn gọi là VLK)

- Để xác định xem bản nào, bạn hãy tìm file : setupp.ini trong thư mục i386 của đĩa CD và mở nó, file này chỉ có 2 dòng :
Ví dụ :

ExtraData=707A667567736F696F697911AE7E05
Pid=55034XXX

_XXX : quyết định chủng loại của nó :
XXX=000 hoặc 335 --> Retail version, cần phải activation.
XXX=OEM --> OEM version, cần phải activation
XXX=270 --> Volume License hay là Corporate Edition, không cần phải activation.

* - Vì vậy có người cho rằng nếu muốn dùng key OEM cho bản Retail thì chỉ cần sửa đổi file setupp.ini cho phù hợp.Tương tự với bản Corporation. ???

Trong file setupp.ini nằm trong folder /I386 có số :
- MPC ( Microsoft Product Code ) (5 số đầu) và số CID (3 số chót) .
Ví dụ : setupp.ini trong CD có

Pid=76487270

Thì số 76487 là Product ID của HP, Dell, hay Compaq gọi chung là Royalty OEM
số 270 là Corporate Edition (hay còn gọi là VLK))

Các bản trên khác nhau như thế nào thì chỉ có Microsoft mới hiểu !
Nhưng có một thực tế là các file có kích thước khác nhau và trong các file .iso thì cũng có thêm, bớt một số folder (file) khác nhau!

4 - Bản WINXP-SP2 : Student Edition

Đây là WINXP-XP2 nguyên gốc, sạch ; có s erial kèm theo ; bản này được dùng trong các trường trung học và cao đẳng trên toàn nước Mỹ nên "Enterprise Serial" được bảo đảm không bao giờ bị đưa vào " blacklisted"

Windows XP Professional (SP2) MSDN VX2PFPP_EN

Đây là bản thương mại của MS, bạn cần phải có key R etail mới có thể cài được (Khác với các bản VLK không cần activate - những bản này bạn có dễ dàng mua ngoài tiệm CD với giá vài ngàn đồng) .Bản này dùng key r etail nên bắt buộc phải activate. Bạn có thể kiểm tra tính xác thực của bản win này bằng công cụ check SHA1 như hash calculator chẳng hạn. Windows xịn, key xịn nên bạn có thể update mọi thứ từ MS
